I am an early-career nearshore oceanographer/ecologist working in marine research, adaptive management, and restoration in Southern Oregon. I am currently based in the rural coastal fishing town of Port Orford, where I support nearshore ecological and oceanographic research, kelp forest restoration, and outreach for the Port of Port Orford. In my work, I aim to bridge the gap between research and rural coastal communities and help to further understand coastal ocean dynamics.
