Rachelle Hacmac is co-founder of Winter Waters, an event series that highlights regenerative and sustainable seafare, encouraging Oregonians to eat more Oregon-landed seafood and seaweed. Oregon Kelp Alliance is the main beneficiary of Winter Waters.
Additionally, Rachelle is an independent seafood and ocean conservation marketing strategist, photographer, and content creator. She works with Local Ocean Seafoods, the Oregon Albacore Commission, and Oregon Ocean Cluster, all with the common thread of keeping local seafood local, supporting sustainable fisheries, and telling stories about Oregon fishing families.
